Dr. Devine originally hails from Minnesota. He attended Villanova University and graduated cum laude. He also played tennis all four years at #2 singles, #1 doubles his senior year, co-captain senior year, and All Big East Academic All-star 99-03. He graduated medical school from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and finished in the second quintile with 89% overall rating. He received a Health Professionals Scholarship Program scholarship, and was commissioned into the Air Force completing Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB. He then transitioned into active duty, and was promoted to Captain upon graduating medical school. He completed Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. He continued on staff as a Hematologist/Oncologist and Key Clinical Faculty for SAUSHEC Hem/Onc Fellowship program from 2014-2019. He was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to Bargram AFB from 2016-2017 as a Medical Intensivist at the level 3 trauma hospital. He was appointed Chief of Hematology/Oncology at Brooke Army Medical Center from 2018-2019. He separated from the Air Force after 11 years of active-duty service at the rank of Major, Lieutenant Colonel Select. He joined Stuart Oncology Associates from 2019-2021 and transitioned to HOAPB in June 2021. He married a former Army Ophthalmologist, Dr. Laura Rubinate, who practices in Lake Worth and Boynton. He has two children and a dog named Chibs.
