Dr. Stephen N. Makoni, MD, FACP, is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist at Hematology Oncology Associates of the Palm Beaches. He earned his medical degree with honors from the Godfrey Huggins School of Medicine in Zimbabwe and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Drexel University in Philadelphia, where he was recognized as an Outstanding Resident. He went on to complete his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Louisville, where he was honored as Fellow of the Year and received the Ralph Scott Research Fellow Award. Dr. Makoni has published several papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and contributed a chapter to an oncology textbook.

With more than two decades of experience in oncology and hematology, Dr. Makoni has also served in leadership positions, including Medical Oncology Director and Assistant Clinical Professor. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care while guiding patients and their families through every step of their treatment journey.
