Dr. Thenappan provides his patients with a voice of hope and optimism along with a realistic view of what can be expected during their cancer treatment. He works with his patients to help them build the confidence they need to overcome any challenges they may face. Dr. Thenappan attributes the practice’s excellent reputation to its dedicated staff and exceptional medical care.

Dr. Thenappan is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Oncology, and the American Board of Hematology. He is a member of the American College of Physicians.

He completed his Fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematologic Malignancies at the Northshore University Hospital, Manhasset, New York. Dr. Thenappan served as a Resident in Internal Medicine and at Jamaica Hospital, Jamaica, New York. He completed his Medical Degree and Internship at Madurai Medical College, Tamil Nadu, India after earning his pre-Medical Degree at Alagappa College, Tamil Nadu, India.
